P.R.U.D.E. stands for Pride of Race, Unity and Dignity through Education. It develops programmes and services for the Black community in the areas of education, social and cultural development. As well, it functions as a resource center for the Black community and provides bursaries to Black students.
In 1992 PRUDE, along with other groups, co-sponsored an exhibit on Black Heritage.

The Black Loyalists of New Brunswick Association is a group dedicated to celebrating their long presence in this area. They organized several events in 1992 to commemorate the 1792 exodus of Black Loyalists to Sierra Leone. Included in these events was the co-sponsoring of an exhibit on Black Heritage

The exhibit was put on at Aitken Bicentennial Exhibition Centre. Entitled "The Invisible Minority: Blacks of New Brunswick", it ran for two months (August and September) and was visited by hundreds of people.
