Clifford "Nick" Skinner

"Nick Skinner was born in Saint John, but his father Nicodemus Skinner, came from Halifax to become one of only two Black merchants of his day in Saint John, operating Skinner's Stove Hospital."

His family traces its roots back to the Loyalists and has been a factor in both sports and politics since coming to the city. Nick's accomplishments make for a lengthy list, and are highlighted in upcoming pages of this site.
