26th New Brunswick Battalion Story

The 26th Battalion, part of the 5th Infantry Brigade of the Second Canadian Division, served in France and Flanders from 1915 until the Armistice.


This unit fought in almost every major engagement in which the Canadians saw action on the Western Front. It accumulated 21 battle honours, winning 266 decorations and awards.
