This section was developed Summer 1997 by J.E.Marriott, Instructor of Computer Programming Technology, NBCC-SJ as a Remembrance Day project for launch November 1997.

Response from the public on this presentation of local history was so overwhelmingly positive that it lead to the idea of an entire website devoted to our Heritage.

As such, this section can be considered as the birthplace of this Heritage Project.
