Location of Albert Mines

Albert Mines is in Hillsborough Parish, Albert County, about 30 kilometers south of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada. Over the past century and a half this area has yielded many ores and minerals - manganese, gypsum, shale, and oil. The Mines is most famous for the discovery and exploitation of albertite, a black, glassy, solid bitumen.
