This Anglican Church's foundation was laid in 1877. Its first service was held in 1885 and it was consecrated on June 11, 1890.

Expansion of the Church

In April, 1952 a resolution was passed at a regular meeting of the vestry. It was concluded through several talks with architects and contractors that the Church should be expanded . The suggested method to do so was by lengthening the building by two bays toward the back.

The estimated cost of the building extension together with the replacement of the sanctuary carpet, channel floor covering, and installation of a new heating system was $25,000.
