1920 - 1929

At the end of the war, Saint John's economy suffered and in 1927 the city sold its harbour facilities to the federal government.

The construction of the «Imperial Theatre» was finally complete and the building was sold to the Famous Players Corporation of Canada and renamed the Capitol Theatre.
